As a wedding photographer, I'm strictly an observer but I also bring years of experience attending weddings to the table. I bring that insight to your ceremony and reception, and if you need support or a calming presence, I'm prepared to help you cope with the situations that will ultimately make your wedding unique. When you work with me, everything I shoot for you – whether I'm documenting your ceremony and reception or creating a portrait in which your personality shines through – I'm also shooting for myself as a photographer. And my standards of quality are exceedingly high. I bring my unique style of photojournalism to your wedding or portrait session, and together we can create beautiful images using natural light, creative settings, and non-traditional techniques. Football Friendly Confines

Chicago photographer

Wrigley Field was the setting for a historic football game between Northwestern and Illinois. I was one of many Chicago photographers on hand for the action, even shooting from inside the scoreboard. This game had many stories, starting with Wrigley Field itself. It was the first football game here in 40 years and the small dimensions of the field made only the west end zone safe for play. But perhaps the most surprising story was Mikel Leshoure who rushed for an Illini record 330 yards.
My work as a photographer was twofold. Earlier in the day, I worked with corporate sponsors, taking group shots on the field. I was then free to roam around, covering the game with unlimited access to the park. My goal was to capture not only the action but incorporate the distinguishing features of the park itself. The highlight for me, a life long Cub fan, was gaining access to the Wrigley Field Scoreboard (see below). I've been primarily working as a wedding photographer in Chicago for the past several years but it was good to be back at Wrigley as a photojournalist.
Here's some of my favorite photos and video!
