One of the most recognized landmarks in town is The Rookery building. As a photographer in Chicago, I was thrilled to be photographing the wedding of Sara and Aaron in this beautiful space.
The building was designed by Chicago's famous architectural company Burnham and Root in 1888. The lobby was redesigned by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1905.
This beautiful building gave me the opportunity to create some wonderful photos of the newlyweds.

Perfect Union

If you are a wedding photographer in Chicago, you have to be prepared for anything. When Jazmin and Raul were married at St. Charles Borromeo in Melrose Park last week, the weather was quite a challenge. Rain couldn't dampen the spirits of this couple however and we ventured outside to capture the type of wedding photography they had hoped for. Using my umbrella, a poncho and plastic bag, we made the most of a wet day!

Michele & Rob wanted a Chicago wedding photojournalist to capture their big day and booked me to capture the moments. The November 19th wedding ceremony was held at Holy Name Cathedral and reception at the Sofitel Chicago. We had time to slip out and get some portraits downtown before a light rain made us head back to the hotel. The Sofitel has some really great locations for indoor portraits and we took advantage of all of them. Congratulations to the newly weds!
