It was a surprise birthday present for Ashley when boyfriend Matt, brought her downtown for what she thought would be some nice portraits in the City. Little did she know, Matt was going to propose at our last stop, the Adler Planetarium. What began as portraits turned into engagement photos as Matt popped the question. Earlier, we took advantage of great light and several downtown locations, including the Chicago Theater. It was an awesome evening and great to be part of the fun and surprise. The last photo sums up the evening!
It was a beautiful fall day when Sara and Renzo tied the knot at Immaculate Conception Parish in Chicago. I first met Sara when I was the wedding photographer at her bother Mike's wedding in 2007. Since I already knew many of the family and friends, fitting in and getting candid photos was no problem. After the ceremony, the bridal party and I headed to the Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg. The reception was held at the Belvedere in Elk Grove Village and the food there is terrific! It was good to see so many familiar face and I hope to see them again soon! If you are planning your own wedding, contact me for more information.
