Wedding Photojournalist in Chicago

Tina and Andrew tied the knot on Sunday, September 4th in the River West area. Since I've been working as a wedding photographer Chicago for several years, I was able to recommend some nearby locations for wedding portraits . We began shooting in their neighborhood near the Lincoln Park Zoo and Cafe Brauer. Later, we headed down to Grand Ave. and took advantage of the Chicago skyline along the river. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Even though I'm a wedding photographer in Chicago, I'm always available for weddings in the mid-west or anywhere in the world for that matter. Morgan and Michael were married at the Aberdeen Manor in Valparaiso, IN and I was their wedding photographer. It was one of those days when it would rain, stop then rain some more. Everyone had hoped to have the ceremony outside and were glued to the weather report. To be on the safe side, the wedding was moved in doors to the venue's chapel. There was a beautiful garden behind the reception hall and it made a wonderful setting for pictures. The wedding was beautiful and I hope to return to this venue in the future.

Congratulations to love birds Chanelle and Astor who were married on August 14th. Their wedding ceremony took place at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Hyde Park. As a wedding photographer in Chicago, I'm use to visiting new venues on a regular basis but the light here was amazing.
After the ceremony we headed downtown to do some bridal party photos. The beautiful weather allowed us to capture some nice portraits near Trump Tower Chicago, and various spots along the river.

Photographers Chicago

Last Saturday, Melissa and Kevin grabbed an umbrella and hit the street with me to capture their wedding portraits. We started out at Union Station, along with 5 other wedding parties, to doge the rain. As we began shooting, the clouds broke so we headed down to Wacker Dr. and used the Chicago River as a backdrop. The Wrigley Building, a client favorite, seemed to be a perfect fit as the rain began to fall once more. Everyone was up for the challenge and we used the rain to create some really nice photos. The all in one wedding was held at the Douglas Dawson Gallery in the West Loop.
